Based on the agreement between APSCO and Beihang University, Beijing, China, the APSCO Secretariat is pleased to make an announcement for Master Program on Space Technology Applications (MASTA) for the year 2013 on two research directions i) Remote Sensing and Geo-information System (RS&GIS) and ii) Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)¡±. The Secretariat is also happy to make another announcement for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program on Space Technology Applications (DOCSTA) for the year 2013. Both MASTA and DOCSTA programs will be organized by Beihang University. (Details of the announcement will be forwarded by e-mail).
The APSCO Secretariat would like to request its focal agency in Member States to nominate 2-3 (two-three) candidates for each research direction of MASTA Program and 1 (one) candidate for PhD Program. Based on the submitted documents and sponsoring policy an evaluation will be done for the received nominations and the qualified applications will be recommended to the University for getting full scholarships excluding international air tickets. However, APSCO will reimburse the international round-trip air ticket cost for finally selected candidates for one time only.
It would be highly appreciated if the nominated participants to fill out the application forms as mentioned in the Application Procedures and Required Materials section of the attached announcement documents send it back with all necessary supporting documents to the APSCO Secretariat to the contact person: Md.
