The Second Workshop on the Application Pilot Projects for APSCO Data Sharing Service Platform was held at Bangkok, Thailand from 15 to 17 November 2016. 35 delegates from Member States and APSCO Secretariat participated in the workshop. During the workshop, the research result of two APSCO Application Pilot Project for APSCO Data Sharing Service Platform (DSSP) were shared, the techniques and methods used in the project were introduced. Besides, 12 presentations from Member States were presented by the participants covering topics on various applications of remote sensing technology, including drought monitoring, rice monitoring, wildfires monitoring, data processing, data platform and etc. All delegates were very actively involved in the discussion on the presentation. Information and knowledge were shared in this workshop.
After the workshop, the Final Review Meeting on this project was held back to back. The PMB Members reviewed the final report of the 2 application pilot project, and the PMB concluded that the projects were successfully implemented and output of the project is very useful. The project can be considered accomplished after the final report updated according to the comments by PMB. And the updated final report will be shared with all Member States.
