The Preliminary Requirements Review (PRR) Meeting of APSCO Student Small Satellite Project (SSS-1 Microsatellite) and the Review of the Progress of the APSCO SSS Project was held during 23-26 May, 2017 at the APSCO Headquarters, Beijing, China. Seven Member States namely Bangladesh, China, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru and Thailand actively participated in the Meeting.
Distinguished Delegates, Professors, Experts and Students from MS and officials from APSCO Secretariat attended the opening ceremony. Dr. Li Xinjun, Secretary-General of APSCO and Mr. Xu Yansong, Division Director for International Affairs from CNSA also participated in the Meeting. Dr. Egemen Ozalp, Deputy Secretary-General of APSCO made the welcome speech. Dr. Mohammad Ebrahimi Seyedabadi, Director General, Department of Education and Training and Database Management (ET&DM) of APSCO chaired the Meeting, and all the deliverables for PRR milestone of the Contract SSS-1 were reviewed during 23rd and 24th May, 2017. On 25th May, 2017, all PMT members and related experts discussed the project
Short-term Training Plan and the procedures of SSS-1, SSS-2A and SSS-2B. The parallel sessions on the sub-contracts discussions among BUAA and SJTU and their sub-contractors were also successfully organized afterwards.
The Meeting was successfully concluded with expected outcomes. The experts expressed their gratitude to APSCO for its hospitality and efficient performance during the Meeting.
