The APSCO delegation represented by Mrs. Byambasuren Erdenee, Senior Official of Strategic Planning and Program Management Department of APSCO, attended the APRSAF-24 in Bangalore, India, during 14-17 November 2017, which was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), JAPAN; Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The theme of the APRSAF-24 was ¡°Space Technology for Enhanced Governance and Development¡±
During the APRSAF-24, Mrs. Byambasuren Erdenee, representing APSCO, gave a presentation, highlighted achievements of APSCO in the Plenary Session of Space Cooperation in Asia-Pacific Region. She introduced cooperative networks of APSCO and outcomes, and prospective areas for space cooperation.
She emphasized that APSCO is successful model of cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region for the capacity-building in space field. The APSCO cares for the new generation and encourages them to join space sector to ensure sustainability of space activities. The APSCO achievements are contributing to economic and social development for common prosperity of the Asia-Pacific region.
